If you were educating future leaders and influential citizens of the world, what would you like them to know, understand and value?
The 21st Century will present the greatest opportunities and challenges ever faced by humankind. It will be one of massive change in technology, social structures, human wellbeing, values and our world ecosystem. Students of today are living through these changes: their decisions and actions over the next 50 years could impact on human wellbeing and world futures for generations.
Education is a key driver of positive change: change to ensure a world that we would like to live in, a world we would like future generations to inherit. Our challenge is to provide students with the curricula and educational experiences that they need now to be effective leaders and influential citizens in this critical 21st century.
EWF aims to meet this challenge. Through its host, the Centre for Integrated Human Studies , it has developed and delivers future-focused university curricula centred on human wellbeing and sustainability. Its vision is to establish a collaborative network of students, schools, universities and interested citizens working together on education for world futures.
We welcome your interest and participation.
